Symptoms
On certain Alienware or Inspiron laptops may not be able to fully charge the battery and the maximum battery capacity is limited to 60%. It may also display "MANUFACTURING MODE : LEVEL [08]" message during POST or the system fan is always spinning in a high speed.

Cause
The manufacture did not clear the manufacturing mode before shipping and then caused the issue.
Resolution
To resolve this issue a simple reset of your system BIOS is required. Follow the steps below for your specific laptops:
For Alienware 13 R3, 15 R3, 17 R4, Inspiron 5565, and 5765:
Power on the laptop and press F2 key to enter into BIOS.Press the Fn+X key to clear the manufacturing mode when below warning message appears. Reboot the laptop by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and the message should disappear.
For Inspiron 5567, 5767, 5468, 7560, Vostro 5468 and 5468:
Power on the laptop and press F2 key to enter into BIOS.Reset the BIOS to default configuration by clicking the "Restore Settings" button, choose "BIOS Defaults" in Available Configurations and then click the OK button.Exit the BIOS and then reboot the laptop, and the issue should be cleared.
