Symptoms
The issue may be random and only occur once or twice out of a number of times starting the computer.
Resolution
Updating the latest Audio (sound) driver on the computer helps resolve the issue. To download and install the latest Audio (sound) driver:
WARNING: Dell recommends disconnecting any external devices such as external hard disk drives, printers, scanners, and so on (except keyboard and mouse) before updating the BIOS on a Dell computer.
WARNING: Dell laptops must have the battery installed and charged to at least 10% before you begin the BIOS update. Dell recommends connecting the laptop to the ac adapter before proceeding with the update process.

Select the Operating System.Under Category, select Audio.Locate the latest Audio Driver.Click Download and save the file to your computer.Open File Explorer and browse to the location where the downloaded file is saved.Double-click the BIOS setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
