Symptoms
DisplayPort Version 1.4
There are NVIDIA video cards (Ex: Quadro K620) that do not natively support DisplayPort version 1.4. When these cards are connected to a DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 monitor, they can experience a blank screen until the Operating System loads or stop responding on boot-up.
Cause
This behavior can affect systems with older NVIDIA cards such as the Dell Precision 7810 or 7820 while connecting to newer monitors such as the U4919DW.
To enable the latest DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 features, your graphics card may require a firmware update. Without the update, systems that are connected to a DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 monitor could experience these symptoms.
