Symptom
When you access the 9800 WLC web interface and swap it to dark, you are not able to read the alerts which are shown via pop-up.
For example, when you save configuration, there is a message that says "Are you sure you want to save the configuration?" but this cannot be read as the background instead of changing to black, it stays white and the transcript color was changed to white.
This happens with any pop-up alert that is displayed when applying changes that may cause WLC to reload, WLANs to go down, etc.
Conditions
9800 WLC when viewed in newer browser versions have dark_mode styling breakages due to changes on browser end
Workaround
Use traditional mode for Web UI instead of Dark mode.
