Symptom

On WLC 9800 with version 17.09.04 we see these error messages on WLC GUI several times a day: %CLI_AGENT-1-NVGEN_ERR: Error while processing NVGEN command

Conditions

There is an impact to the management GUI. Messages started when 9800 WLC was upgraded to 17.09.04.

Workaround

for immediate relief conf#no nmsp enable OR If end user doesnt want to disable nmsp, then disable cleanAir so that no new interferers are reported, thus helping in controlling the situation
