Symptom

A leaf switch repeatedly reloads due to policyelem abnormal exit and HAP reset.

Conditions

This issue may occur when the same endpoint MAC address exists in two different bridge domains and the EPGs that those MACs are associated to have the "Allow microsegmentation" option enabled. When policies are downloaded to a leaf node, there are some scenarios where these duplicate MAC addresses cause the Policy Element service to exit abnormally.

Workaround

None has been identified yet. Because the conditions that lead to the crash do not always happen, the leaf switch may not have this problem after a reload.
