Symptom

It should be possible to add backup peers/interfaces for policy-based site to site VPN tunnels in FMC for devices map. Currently there is no option to add site to site backup peer IP addresses to enable VPN on backup interfaces on FTDs managed via the same FMC in MESH topology.

Conditions

Need to add a backup peer/interface to a Site to site VPN configuration in MESH topology to FTDs managed by the same FMC.

Workaround

Use DVTI or configure extranet entries for both ends of the tunnel instead of MESH topology.
