Further Problem Description
The general cause of the problem is an interruption in the PSU's input power. There are 2 sub-cases:
Case 1: PSU input power is interrupted but resumes within the power CPLD's retry-count limit.
In this case, the x86 FPGA's watchdog will expire after the period programmed by XR, and initiate a full-chassis power-cycle to recover the system.
Case 2: PSU input power is interrupted, and does not resume within the power CPLD's retry-count limits.
In this case, the power CPLD will not try to bring up the PSU again and . The only recovery method is to manually power cycle the system.
