Symptom

> PTP cannot sync (get to PHASE ALIGNED) on clients. > PTP loses sync to primary source upon RSP switchover on ASR903. > After the PTP sync was lost, the time to go to PHASE ALIGNED is too long.

Conditions

'ptp clock e2e-transparent domain X' is configured on transit ASR903.

Workaround

To remove PTP Transparent configuration from the ASR903 in the PTP path.
