Symptom
A router running IOS-XE 17.x.x may experience a crash due to a CPUHOG hog event when ThousandEyes agent is put in "RUNNING" state.
Conditions
Running configuration includes: snmp mib flash cache
User configures app-hosting and places app in "RUNNING" state with "app-hosting start appid "
After the initial crash, further crashes will continue to occur until "app-hosting uninstall appid " is configured.
Workaround
Currently the only known workaround is to remove the following line from the configuration:
snmp mib flash cache
Remove with: no snmp mib flash cache
Further Problem Description
Problem has been recreated on 17.6.4 and 17.9.2a.
17.9.2a is fixed for CSCvz89354, therefore we have this new defect.
