Symptom
Severity level is not visible in the running configuration of the switch for logging level "5". When configuring logging server.
Conditions
Version 10.2(4).
Nexus N9K-93180YC-FX or Nexus9000 C9348GC-FXP.
Severity level needs to be 5. No issues observed with logging level 4 or 6.
While configuring logging server command.
#logging server host [severity-level [use-vrf vrf-name]]
Workaround
No workarounds for severity level "5". Can use another severity level like 6 or 4. This is expected for default severity 5.
Further Problem Description
- Issue is cosmetic - doesn't impact connectivity to syslog.
To check severity level use command:
#show logging server
