Complete traffic drop for the multicast streams
Conditions
Cable Pull out for the directly connected Source sitting behind a switch
Workaround
Disable IGMP snooping on the switch
Further Problem Description
On pulling out the cable between the CAT9K switch and the source PC, CAT9K switch is sending (*, G) Exclude mode join to PE(NCS55xx). Earlier the join request was (S, G) Include mode join. Include followed by Exclude mode join is causing the EVPN sync states to be incorrect on the PEs which is leading to wrong Fabric programming and eventually traffic drops.
