Symptom

Catalyst 9800 WLC might reload due to WNCD process crash. Error logs generated during the crash: wncd[23855]: %APMGR_TRACE_MESSAGE-4-WLC_APMGR_WARNING_MSG: R0/0: wncd: Warning, aaaa.bbbb.cccc AP Name : country changed from US to AU pman[23835]: %PMAN-3-PROCHOLDDOWN: R0/0: wncd: The process wncd has been helddown (rc 139)

Conditions

This issue was observed when AP joined another location configured from controller. This is caused by passing radio type instead of band to the API which sends Radio Resource Manager (RRM) control payloads to AP.
