Symptom

PoE operating status is "off" after switchover during err-disable recovery. However, it can also be in "on" state but no power is drawn. In either case, PD detection has stopped.

Conditions

1. Switch has following configuration or other condition which can cause err-disable. errdisable recovery cause inline-power errdisable recovery interval 30 interface GigabitEthernet2/0/14 power inline consumption 4000 power inline police action errdisable 2. Soft switchover when port is recovered from err-disable but before it is shut down again.

Workaround

Shut and no shut the port.
