Symptom
EIGRP on NxOS does not generate a syslog message indicating a cabling issue or config issue on the ip addressing of a link as IOS-based platforms do.
An example of IOS message that is missing from NxOS is below:
Aug 31 18:00:00 GMT: %DUAL-6-NBRINFO: EIGRP-IPv4 1: Neighbor 10.2.1.1 (TenGigabitEthernet1/1) is blocked: not on common subnet (10.1.1.1/30)
Conditions
EIGRP configured for ipv4 on both ends of the link where there is an ip addessing issue.
