Symptom
- NCS520 change "no negotiation auto" to "negotiation auto" after multiple power cycles
- No error messages in the device logs related to the configuration
- No relevant information found in tracelogs
Conditions
- Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.03.04
- Chassis type: N520-X-20G4Z-A
- Transceiver "GE ZX"; PID: GLC-ZX-SMD
- "no negotiation auto" configured in TenGigaInterface
- Time left between power cycle > 5 min.
Workaround
Re-configure "no negotiation auto"
