Symptom
Upgrades to/from 7.5.3 that are marked as blocked in either the 7.5.3 upgrade matrix or the other version's matrix proceed when they should fail. Only a warning is output. Further, the data in the 7.5.3 upgrade matrix is incorrect, for example: platforms that are not supported on 7.5.3 are listed as supported.
Conditions
Performing an upgrade to or from 7.5.3, for an upgrade path that is not supported.
Workaround
The upgrade is not blocked when it should be, and the data in the 7.5.3 upgrade matrix is incorrect. The only workaround is to check which upgrades and downgrades are supported directly with Cisco rather than rely on the upgrade matrix preventing any unsupported upgrades.
