Symptom

Enhancement request to implement ACL counters for DACLs. IOS-XE has changed the architecture and now the command "Show access-.list" does not show the ACE counters for DACLs "show ip access-list int " command shows nothing. The behavior is expected but the enhancement is to request an equivalent command to check the ACE counters for DACLs.

Conditions

Any platform newer than nova.

Workaround

denied traffic can be tracked using: "Show platform software fed active acl counters hardware | in GACL" comand.
