Symptom
ptp_ma crash is observed removing PTP configuration in the interface submode, after an ISSU has completed.
Conditions
The crash is observed on the newly active RP, when the PTP configuration is removed under:
- Bundle-Ether interfaces on all platforms
- Any interface on ncs560
The crash will cause the commit of the configuration removal to fail, but a retry of the commit (after ptp_ma restarts) will succeed.
Workaround
A process restart of ptp_ma on the newly active RP after the ISSU completes will prevent the crash being observed when the configuration is changed in the future.
