Cisco CUBE needs to be enhanced to support and understand SCIP as a Audio and Video Codec.
Conditions
The customer of CU is planning to place new crypto ip phones into their Cisco UC network.
Therefore Cisco CUBE needs to be enhanced to support and understand SCIP as a Audio and Video Codec.
Further Problem Description
The CU had pre-production devices in their lab and SCIP seems to use a codec just like Clearmode, passing transparent across network. In detail it differs somewhat since it's no 64kbits ISDN data channel anymore.
Right now it collides with their CUBE policy to enforce certain codec but even in complete transparency some work needs to be done on CUBE side.
