End devices can't establish FCNS sessions with NPIV switches after successfully FLOGI'ing into the upstream NPIV switch. Conditions

End devices are connected to a Nexus 9000 in NPV mode. Nexus 9000 is connected via FCOE to the upstream NPIV switch. VFC interfaces are bound to a port-channel. The port-channel bound to the VFC has down links.

Workaround

There are two possible workarounds: Remove the VFC bindings and apply them to the physical links. or Remove the down links from the port channel. End devices may need to be reloaded to re-initialize the login process
