Symptom
Unicast traffic loss on recovery of a ToR/BL with ECMP in a VXLAN fabric.
Conditions
Recovery of a BL in a VXLAN fabric.
Workaround
As a workaround we are using an EEM script in conjunction with Maintenance mode that will isolate BGP, OSPF and PIM on recovery to make sure control Plane is fully configured and VTEP is up before it is used in the forwarding path. The workaround produces a hitless recovery where we do not see any unicast traffic loss.
