Symptom

IKE DPD logs cannot be filtered by changing logging level on vEdge. This can cause syslog servers to become overwhelmed with too many syslog messages.

Conditions

1. Ipsec tunnels are used on vEdge router. 2. /var/log/vsyslog file is filling up with IKE DPD messages. 3. The IKE DPD messages cannot be filtered by changing the logging level.

Workaround
