Symptom
For Cat9300L, when switches are upgraded from IOSXE Release 17.3.x to 17.6.1 through xFSU , Traffic downtime will be 150-180 Seconds against the expected < 30 seconds.
Conditions
Issue is seen on Cat9300L switches when IOSXE is upgraded from Release 17.3.x to Release 17.6.1 using the xFSU feature (reloadfast option). This issue is not relevant for upgrading without using the xFSU feature.
Further Problem Description
CLI for upgrading using xFSU feature is ?install add file flash:image.bin activiate reloadfast commit? . In this CLI we use ?reloadfast? key word to trigger the xFSU feature . xFSU feature enables to get traffic downtime to be less than 30 seconds during the upgrade of the IOSXE. Due to this known issue for C9300L, we will see traffic down time of 150-180 seconds.
