Symptom

[+] When performing an IPv6 traceroute from an IOS-XE router through a 6VPE MPLS core, the IOS-XR MPLS hops are not displayed in the output [+] The same occurs whether we traceroute from an IOS-XE CE or if we traceroute in the VRF from an IOS-XE PE [+] This issue does not occur when doing an IPv6 traceroute from an IOS-XR CE or PE router [+] This issue also does not occur for IPv4 traceroutes

Conditions

This trace issue is seen when the CE is XE, while the P router is XR router, the PE can be XE or XR, the same outcome is seen on the CE.
