Symptom
No traffic being redirected from the FTD to the web-cache device.
Conditions
- FTD running 6.6.0+
- Multiple VRF configured.
- No interfaces configured on the Global VRF.
Workaround
Configure at least one interface on the Global VRF on the FTD, this will be used as Router Identifier on the WCCP "I see you" packet to source the redirected packets to the web-cache device
Further Problem Description
The Router Identifier for WCCP traffic redirection on ASA and FTD devices is assigned from the highest IP from the data interfaces. For FTD with Virtual Router Forwarding (VRF), this IP is assigned from the interfaces on the Global VRF.
If there is no interface configured on the Global VRF, the FTD sends to the web-cache proxy server the Router IP address to 0.0.0.0, thus the "show wccp" command output display it as "no yet determined"
> show wccp
