Symptom
- Using below command:
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/24
no logging event power-inline-status <<<<
end
Below log is still seen:
*Dec 8 19:25:08.437: %ILPOWER-5-PD_ENTRY_REMOVAL: Interface GigabitEthernet1/0/24: power device entry removed. admin_state: 2, oper_state: 3
Conditions
- 9300/9400 running Gibraltar 16.12.4
- The log is ssen even if logging event power-inline-status is configured
Workaround
There is no workaround available
Further Problem Description
- This issue is not seen in 16.9.4. 16.12.4 only
- 3850 platform does not display this log
- The same behavior is seen on 9400 platform
