Symptom
A flap of a VXLAN EVPN neighbor may cause the NVE peer not come up due to the route not being installed into the uRIB.
Conditions
Reload or unreachability of the remote VTEP leaf.
Workaround
Reset BGP neighbor or clear the route may recover from the broken state using:
clear bgp all *
or
clear ip route *
Further Problem Description
NVE Peering is up only when there is a learned EVPN route from the Peer and Peer IP is in RIB, so if the type-2/type-5 route not install the routing table, the NVE peer will not display in "show nve peer".
If remote vtep has type-3 routes, it will add to the peer list, but the RMAC will show as N/A:
