Symptom

SNMP groups and SNMP Traps may become configured with SNMP v1 when a Catalyst 9800CL wireless LAN controller is added to Prime Infrastructure with SNMP v3.

Conditions

This was observed in Prime Infrastructure 3.8.

Workaround

At this time, there is no workaround. Configure manually on WLC: snmp-server host version 3 priv no snmp-server group v1 no snmp-server group v2c
