Symptom

When an additional IPv6 address is configured on an interface and delete the old IPv6 address, the device still uses the old IPv6 address, as can be seen from control connections. The interface doesn't show the deleted IPv6 address.

Conditions

1. This happens when there is an existing IPv6 address and an additional IPv6 is added via Router Advertisements from peer/locally. 2. The older IPv6 address is deleted

Workaround

The workaround is to remove all the IPv6 address and then shut-no shut the interface.
