Symptom
Directly connected port channel interface pings works when vlan dot1q tag native is configured one side of switch after removal and creating L2 vlan
Conditions
"vlan dot1q tag native " is configured one side only. Deleting and creating L2 vlan from switch causes the ping via port channel success.
Workaround
Bounce the Portchannel to go to the default behavior of ping drops.

Directly connected port channel interface pings works when vlan dot1q tag native is configured one side of switch ie 3650 after removal and creating L2 vlan on 3850. on cat6k dot1q ta native is not configured
For the ping to work both sides we should configure "vlan dot1q tag native" or both sides we should remove "vlan dot1q tag native"
