Symptom
After an NX-OS upgrade or reload of Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches configured for selective Q-in-Q, to Cisco NX-OS 9.3(5), the feature might not work as expected.
Conditions
Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches configured for selective Q-in-Q, is upgraded to Cisco NX-OS 9.3(5). The problem is seen due to upstream port not having correct provider type in hardware.
Workaround
Enter "system dot1q-tunnel transit"
Further Problem Description
This problem is seen on switches where upstream port(L2 trunk) comes up first before the Q-in-Q interfaces come up.
