Symptom
While upgrading an FTD HA pair of FP1010, the HA status on the Primary device became Suspended.
Navigating to HA screen of the FTD, an event is shown with details:
CD App Sync error is App Config Apply Failed.
Conditions
Fresh install of FP1010 with management configuration.
No SRU updates were installed prior to upgrade.
Workaround
Perform SRU updates prior to software upgrade.
Perform HA resume on the suspended device.
