Symptom

After shutting down ISIS interface inside router isis configuration, the link was not deleted from the isis database on that router

Conditions

Both the following conditions must exist for this bug to be seen: 1. ISIS configured with "advertise passive-only". 2. Shutting down an interface inside router isis configuration to disable isis on it rather than shutting down the interface as a whole.

Workaround

Use the command "clear isis local-lsp" after performing the shutdown configuration.
