Symptom

when a wrong interface name is used while pushing the template, config push is successful, but that interface doesn't exist. it creates the incorrect interface under sdwan section. and we will be unable to delete the incorrect config using templates.

Conditions

incorrect config and template push from vManage detatch the template and unconfigure the changes manually and commit using CLI we still are unable to attach the template. It still fails.

Workaround

1. Perform a reset with 'request platform software sdwan software reset' or 2. Take the device out of controller mode and put it back with "controller-mode disable" and "controller-mode enable" or 3. Contact Cisco TAC to remove the interface from the sdwan config via root access
