Symptom
The show diag prints the board IDPROM content in a readable format and Power Consumption field being excluded in the idprom decoder utility for all the nodes. We wanted manufacturing not to program this field in the IDPROM for any Spitfire card except PSU since the field is not usable for anymore.
Conditions
There are two issues because of excluding this field from decoder. 1. The Power consumption is required for Spitfire PSU IDPROM but it say unknown field now. 2. MFG already chipped boards RP, LC, FC with this field empty programmed already, wanted to completely hide this field instead of Unknown on such board.
Workaround
This is only display issue and mislead customer. There is no workaround and a code fix is required.
Further Problem Description
We have introduced a way to filer fields per platform in case a platform required specific fields to hide it in the show diag output. We added Power Consumption field into Spitfire platform filter for all cards except PSU now.
