Symptom

Deployment to FTD-HA is failed when interface as used inline-pair in standby unit is down. Deployment progress is kept stopping by 98% and failed after about 30min. The following message is displayed on FMC GUI when progress is 98% . "98% Finalizing policy configuration on the device." The following message is displayed on FMC GUI after deploy failed. "Deployment to device failed due to HA/Cluster timeout.Mandantory to Retry deployment."

Conditions

Use FTD-HA. Interface as used inline-pair is down in standby unit.

Workaround

Link-up the down state interface as used inline-pair.
