Symptom
After having configured the same ve-id for L2VPN Auto-discovery BD on two routers (let say PE2 and PE3), one may observe a PW remote label mismatch between BGP and L2VPN VPLS on the third router (e.g. PE1). This results in traffic from PE1 being imposed with the wrong PW label, and ends up getting dropped in the remote PEs
Conditions
running L2VPN VPLS BGP Auto-discovery with BGP signaling
mis-configuring the same ve-id value on two or more remote PEs
Workaround
Unconfigure the bridge-domain on all remote routers that have the same ve-id then reconfigure with unique ve-id on all routers.
