Symptom

Multicast traffic loss to remaining receivers after one receiver sends multiple leaves in quick succession.

Conditions

[+] IGMPv3/MLD Snooping [+] Receiver that is leaving sends 2 or more leaves for the same S,G or *,G in rapid succession

Workaround

Disable explicit host tracking under VLAN configuration: # configure terminal # vlan configuration 10 # no ip igmp snooping explicit-tracking
