Symptom
9800:dns radius fqdn resolve is not happening with scale scenario
Conditions
Build:C9800-universalk9_wlc.2019-08-29_12.31_malallur.SSA.bin
issue:
dns radius fqdn resolve is not happening with scale scenario, because of this client is not authenticating.
step to repro.
1. have 9840 with 1k aps and 10k dot1x client in run state
2. have radius config with dns resolve
3. join all the aps and client
4. reload box < -- after controller comes up its taking around 18 minute to dns resolve
Please find logs from below location and i have attached to ddts some logs.
controller ip - 9.2.63.13 and dns ip 9.4.105.60

Workaround
Please use below cli as work around in exec mode.
WLC#dns query periodic re-trigger
