Symptom
When generating a custom report for SRU updates, the task will error out with "Failed to generate " message.
Conditions
FMC running 6.2.3
Steps to reproduce:
1. System -> Updates -> Rule Updates -> Rule Update Log(on the right)
2. Click the Magnifying glass to see the rule updates
3. Click Save Search and give the Rule Update a meaningful name.
4. Overview -> Reporting -> Report Templates
5. Create Rule Template
6. Create a Title
7. Under Report Section on the right select Table
8. In New Data Section 1 Select "Rule Update Import Log"
9. In the Search Field select the name you created above in #3
10. Click the Pencil to edit fields and add all relevant fields of interest
11. Save and generate the report.
12. The "Failed to generate" error will show up.
Workaround
1. System -> Updates -> Rule Updates -> Rule Update Log(on the right)
2. Click the Magnifying glass to see the rule updates
3. Click Save Search and give the Rule Update a meaningful name.
4. Click on the back option from your browser
5. Click on Report designer
5. From Report Template add the name under Report Title
6. Preview/Save/Generate
7. Export to your preferred method
