Symptom

When an ITSP/provider sends OPTION message's to VIP address of the HA pair,provider expects to get a response from the same VIP address.But when this issue occurs at any router in HA pair,active router starts responding to OPTIONS with the physical IP address and that will cause force providers to mark the SIP trunk towards CUBE HA as down since the response that they received would be from an unknown IP or the response might not reach them at all if routing is configured likewise. Conditions

-CUBE HA configured -Dial-peer bind configured voice service voip AND dial-peer/tenant -On IOS 16.3.6,16.6.5,16.9.2,16.10.1a -TCP and UDP are affected.

Workaround

-Bind command needs to be manually re-configured under voice service voip
