Symptom
The following error is seen on N9K switch with BGP configured running 9.x code:
2019 Aug 15 19:54:00 N9K-Router %BGP-3-MD5PASS: bgp- [30030] Cannot set MD5 password for peer 10.1.1.1
Conditions
Customer experiences the following BGP error syslog when doing the following operations:
* removal of BGP neighbor which has MD5 password configured underneath
* removal of MD5 password from neighbor
The error appears to be cosmetic in nature, as the commands used to invoke the error are destructive and remove the password.
Workaround
No known workarounds exist.
