Symptom
- OSPF is enabled on a interface. Even though secondary ipv4 addresses configured on the interface, this address(/s) are not included by ospf in its router LSA. This results in these secondary addresses becoming unreachable for other ospf routers.
- Also, show ospf interface does not show any secondary address
Conditions
Initially, afger first configuration, these secondary addresses are included in ospf but if/when interface flaps, we see this issue
Workaround
There is no known workaround.
Further Problem Description
- This issue is applicable to all XR platforms for versions 06.03.01 and above
- Recovery
1. Removing the secondary address configuration from interface and reading it.
2. process restart ospf
