Description

Symptom

IOS and IOS-XE are not updating RFC2833 payload type.

Conditions

### Call Flow ### Analog Phone-->(FXS)-->VG204 (ISR4K)-->(SCCP)-->CUCM-->(SIP)-->SIP System (It could be any) Note: This applies to any IOS or IOS-XE running STCAPP service. There is have to be a media renegotiation and payload type needs to change from one value to another one, between one StartMediaTransmission and another StartMediaTransmission. E.G: ### Initial media negotiation: ORC StartMT --> RFC2833 PT: 100 ORCACK ### Media renegotiates: CRC ORC StopMT StartMT --> RFC2833 PT: 101 ORCACK

Workaround

Avoid payload type renegotiation.
