Symptom
Catalyst 9300 switches may not boot up after connecting RJ-45 serial console cable with some Cadyce CA-US9 USB to Serial Converters.
Only Power Supply module LEDs and FAN module LEDs are lit. All front-panel LEDs are off.
Conditions
Certain Cadyce CA-US9 USB to Serial Converters with Cisco DB-9 to RJ-45 console cable when attached to Catalyst 9300 switches.
Workaround
Remove the console cable and let the switch boot. Alternatively, use a mini-USB serial cable to the front panel USB console port rather than the rear panel RJ-45 console port.
