Symptom

Because QSFP-40/100-SRBD transceiver responds with cevQSFPUnknown when using SNMP polling, it is not possible to find QSFP-40/100-SRBD when using SNMP.

Conditions

When hardware is populated with QSFP-40/100-SRBD transceiver(s), user will not be able to locate using SNMP.

Workaround

Use CLI to find QSFP-40/100-SRBD using various CLI commands including show interface status | inc BIDI N9K-244-100# show interface status | inc BIDI Eth8/16 QSFP-40/100-SRBD connected 808 full 100G QSFP-100G40G-BIDI N9K-244-100#
