Symptom

On a Nexus 9500 chassis with FM-E fabric modules and Cisco Cloud Scale ASICs, multicast traffic ingressing a sub-interface may be dropped after configuring "feature nv overlay". This is seen when only the feature is configured, but no other EVPN configurations are present.

Workaround

- Remove "feature nv overlay" and reload the switch (if not intending to use EVPN) - Complete the intended EVPN configuration
