Symptom

The /var/sysmgr folder within the FEX is getting filled up and following logs appear on the switch logging log - 2018 Mar 8 11:27:21 N9K-1 %SYSMGR-FEX101-3-VAR_SYSMGR_FULL: System Manager file storage usage is unexpectedly high at 100%. This may impact system functions.

Conditions

Known condition so far (may not be limited to) - FEX N2K-C2248TP-1GE dual-homed to two Nexus 93180YC-EX running 7.0(3)I7(1)

Workaround

Manually delete the files under tmp_logs under /var/sysmgr inside the FEX
