Symptom
Broadcast ARP requests could be seen to be dropped by FM-E fabric modules of an N9k device in case the source protocol address field in these ARP requests has a specific pattern 0x8889 as the last two octets (an IP address with the last two octets .136.137).
Conditions
Changing the affected IP address on the affected host device to any other unaffected IP address from the same subnet eliminates the issue for the host immediately.

Issue is fixed in N9k Release 7.0(3)I7(3)
